Yesterday I was browsing www.projectwedding.com when I came upon an interesting title for a submission: How to Pee in Your Wedding Gown. My curiosity was, to say the least, piqued. I clicked, and read, and was ever so slightly amazed. The problem brides were having, it seems, is that their train is much too long and they were having issues with the back of the seat. I had never thought of this, but it's a predicament. (Luckily, I have a short dress with no train!) They offer a very simple way to solve this peeing problem, without ruining the back of your dress (i.e. it touches the wetness/etc. right behind the toilet, it gets dipped in the toilet... etc.)
1. Make sure the floor is clean. If not, get someone to clean it. Genius, really. lol
2. Go into stall (handicapped stall) and face toilet.
3. Remove Panties completely. (Sucks if you're wearing those full-body Spanx things!)
4. Approach toilet and sit on it facing the wall, so that your train is no where near the back of the toilet.
5. Pee!
6. Wash hands. Actually, I added this step, though I suppose "Put on Panties" should go first.
I thought this was kind of brilliant, especially if you have a huge train. Whodathunkit?
