I had some issues with the favors (CDs) and programs.
First of all, we decided to do CDs with songs for our favors. We had 100 blank CDs, and figured this would be the perfect use for them. Although I wanted this done months ago, RoyBoy only decided what song to dance to with his mother, so we got started on the project last week. I gave half to RoyBoy and started on my half. His computer is faster than mine, so he was done sooner. However, he didn't burn any songs, just an image that did nothing. Thus, we had fifty useless CDs. After getting over my annoyance, I got more and burned the rest. The project was done this Monday.
To make the labels, I had been given a CD stomper -for free!- which included labels, a label-sticker, and software. Sounds great, but the software was too old to use. Luckily, daddy found a template. I made a really cute design, and printed them. Lil Fuss (RoyBoy's sister) then put the labels on and we stuffed them into CD envelops.
The programs were their own issue. I had to get two black ink cartridges, then the color cartridge was threatening to quit! I printed 125 papers, to realize that I needed 10 more pieces, so I went to Staples. Luckily I realized that I was an idiot; I did NOT need more paper, because each sheet had two programs on it. I only needed to print 70 copies, not 130! So I went home and finished the program printing.
Crazy. BUT, the programs and CDs look great!
